Bali is one of the most famous tourist destinations of the world. The Indonesian Island has even won the Best Island Award by the International Travel Magazine. The Museum Le Mayeur

This Museum was first the home of a Belgian artist named Jean Le Mayeur Merpes. He lived in this place along with his wife till the year of 1935. Thereafter, it became a museum which displayed some 90 odd paintings to the tourists who usually used to get flights to Bali to visit the place and view the paintings of artist who used to reside there.  It is a place which showcases the Balinese style architecture. Museum Negeri Propinsi Bali

This museum was originally founded in the year 1910 by a Dutch resident who was worried about the export of cultural artifacts from the island. It was destroyed by an earthquake in 1917 but was again rebuilt during the 1920s. The museum was mainly used for storage of artifacts till the year 1932 when a German artist along with some others decided to start collecting and preserving the artifacts. Agung Rai Museum of Art

This museum was founded by Agung Rai. Apart from the museum it is also one of the major cultural centers of the metropolis. The museum exhibits the classical Kamasan paintings and Batuan style work between the years of 1930 and 1940. The museum is a well organized one and the paintings are all labeled in English. Works by Lempad, Affandi, Sadali, Hofker, Bonnet and Le Mayeur are also displayed in the museum.

The Museum of Fine Arts

This place displays almost all the types of Balinese style art available. Tourists get flights to Bali to get to this museum in order to view the amazing art work of the modern Balinese art movement, which started in Ubund. Plenty of artists during this period of time began to abandon religious themes of art and moved on into the scenes of daily life. The collection of art in the museum is well organized and labeled in English.
